Directline Structures have a placement opportunity for a Part I or Part II Architectural Assistant, for 6 months – 1 year.
Working with a qualified Architect, you would join our small and busy Design and Build team. Projects are mostly in the fields of education, industrial and commercial. You will gain experience through the whole design and construction process and observe the running of a small practice.
Job Description:
Assisting Architect with production of CAD drawings, visuals, and reports.
Attend sites and meetings with other members of the team.
Skills required:
AutoCAD
Sketchup with VRay
Photoshop
InDesign
You should be highly motivated and able to work under your own initiative. You should be efficient and methodical in your work.
An interest and understanding of construction, rather than purely design, will be essential.
